COVID-19 Update

April 8, 2020

Essential only begins to describe what we do.

Dear Community Member,

We are not changing what we do, only how we do it. Like you, Perception Programs Inc. continues to monitor the rapidly changing developments associated with Coronavirus/COVID-19. Our leadership and behavioral health team are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our clients, employees and their families.

AT THIS TIME, ALL OF OUR OUTPATIENT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTERS AND RISK REDUCTION PROGRAMS ARE OPEN NORMAL HOURS — we all realize this is an evolving situation and we anticipate having to adapt our hours and staff exposure, accordingly.

In addition to monitoring the guidance from the CDC as well as State and local public health officials, we are taking precautionary measures to ensure that Perception Programs Inc. minimizes exposure risks including:

• OUTPATIENT GROUPS are now available via video chat.

• USING TELEMEDICINE — our digital program, Telehealth, is available to all clients who would like to utilize this option for treatment

• SOBER HOUSING RESIDENTS are encouraged to practice social distancing and report any illness.

• UCONN RESEARCH staff will be conducting projects remotely until further notice.

Perception Programs Inc. is aware that this message is among dozens you are receiving and we thank you for taking a moment to get up to speed with our status. Our team will continue to give you updates as this public health issue continues.
