DIRECTIONS TO STEEPLE CHASE BIKE TOUR
Windham Mills, 320 Main Street, Willimantic, CT
From New Haven and South: 91N to 84E in Hartford. 84E to 384E to Providence. 384 to Route 6 Exit (Willimantic). Go about 14 miles on Route 6 to the intersection of Route 6 and Route 66. Go straight through the intersection; Route 6 will take a left so you will now be on Route 66. Go about 2 miles to the intersection of Route 32 and Route 66 (Main St). The intersection is a "T" with a Friendly's and Stop & Shop directly across the street. You can go only right or left. Take a right on Route 66 (Main Street) and go approximately 1.5 miles. Windham Mills is on the right. It's a gray stone factory building with an iron fence around it. On the fence will be a Steeple Chase banner. Registration is at the loading dock.
From Springfield and North: 91S to 84E in Hartford. Follow above directions.
From New London and Southeast: 95N to 395N to exit 81W; the exit is for Hartford. You will be on Route 2 for about 2 miles. Take exit 25 to 32N towards Franklin/Willimantic. Follow Route 32N to Willimantic. At the Frog Bridge stoplight take a right. At the end of the Bridge take a right onto Main Street (Route 66). Windham Mills is one block down the street on the right. It's a gray stone factory building with an iron fence around it. On the fence will be a Steeple Chase banner. Registration is at the loading dock.
From Middletown: Route 66E all the way into Willimantic, taking care to bear right at the intersection of Route 6 and Route 66. The intersection of Route 66 (right) and Route 32 (left) is a "T" with a Friendly’s and Stop & Shop directly across the street. You can go only right or left.
