REGISTRATION FORM

For your convenience we have provided you with a downloadable registration form that can be filled out and emailed back to us. (Note: This option requires Microsoft Word.)

If you choose to email your registration form to us and it is received before the August 15 deadline, you will be entered at the pre-registration rate and may pay at sign-in on the day of the event. All other fundraising rules will apply as stated below.

FUNDRAISING AND REGISTRATION RULES . . .

Riders can register on-line at active.com - check it out!
Pre-Registration is $25 per rider and the rider needs to raise an additional $50 over the registration fee. All forms must be received by August 15th at Perception Programs, 54 North Street (entrance on Meadow Street), Willimantic, CT 06226; (860) 450-7122
A family/group registration is $75 and the group must raise $100. This covers 4 riders and 2 T-shirts.
Day of the ride registration is $30 for an individual and the rider needs to raise $50 over the registration fee or $85 for a group and the group must raise $100 over the registration fee.
Sign-In is 7AM until 11AM. Riders will receive their number and route map at registration.
100 milers must be out before 8:30AM, 50 milers out by 9:30AM and 20 and 35 miler riders out by 10AM.
Ride begins and ends at Windham Mills, 320 Main Street, Willimantic, CT 06226. Free food and snacks after the ride for all participants.
All pledges must be turned in by 11AM on August 16, 2008 (day of ride) to be eligible for a prize.

If you lose anything the day of the ride inform Registration and on Monday call (860) 450-7122 to see if your item was found.
Sign up to ride as a team for the Corporate/Club/Church challenge. The top 3 teams that raise the most money will win a trophy and publicity in the local newspaper.
NEW 35 mile ride! A moderate ride. A bit more difficult than the 20-mile and not as challenging as the 50 or 100 mile routes.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM US:

• Friendly volunteers willing to support you in your ride.
• Clear and visible road markings from start to finish.
• Support and SAG wagons on each route.
• Basic emergency first aid.
• Rest stops complete with water and snacks.
• Pre and post ride food at registration.
• A Steeple Chase t-shirt.
• A day full of memories.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• To ride legally, safely and courteously.
• To wear a helmet during the ride.
• Not to wear headphones while cycling so you can hear cars.
• Not to drink alcohol while cycling.
• Keep your rider number visible at all times.
• To check-in at registration at the end of the ride.
• To raise money.
• To have a wonderful day.
