The Tour Sponsors...
This year is the seventeenth annual Steeple Chase Bike Tour. The Steeple Chase is a fund-raiser for two area non-profit social service agencies, WAIM and Perception Programs, that help people when they need it most. The Windham Area Interfaith Ministry, is comprised of 39 faith communities, provides fuel assistance, clothing, and furniture to area needy families. Perception Programs, Inc. offers treatment, , case management, education and housing to people with substance abuse problems, adults involved in the criminal justice system, and people living with AIDS. Providing quality services is the trademark of both agencies. WE NEED YOUR HELP to raise money to meet the increased needs of the clients we service. Please ride with us and raise money for your neighbors, friends and family.

The 2008 Routes - riders' comments...
100 Mile Tour: “I missed last year so this was my first time doing the new 100. Excellent ride! Challenging enough to keep me motivated to get to the next rest stop. Your event has great food and the massage therapists have great hands.”--2008 rider. 35 Mile Tour:“My son and I rode the entire 50 to my surprise! The rest stops are terrific and we ate and ate:)” --2008 rider. (A mini-version of the 100-miler, not as hilly.) 20 Mile Tour: “My entire family rides the 20 every year. Next year I think the kids will ride the 35 and I’ll stay with the 20 - it’s just enough biking for me. I love how friendly everyone is. See you next year!” -- 2008 rider. In 1995, an extended version of the 20-mile ride (28 miles) was listed in 1995's Best Short Bike Rides in New England.
