Right Turn : Adolescent Program
Right Turn Mission
Our purpose is to provide a safe and caring environment where youth and families can address the issues surrounding substance abuse including underlying mental health issues. We strongly encourage family participation in the recovery and treatment process. Through this participation, individuals and families learn to better understand the dynamics of their individual situation and how, with this knowledge base, to better communicate and interact with each other to deescalate the triggers that can lead to relapse. All treatment is designed with the specific goal of achieving and maintaining sobriety. We conduct random urinalysis to insure that clients are, in fact, maintaining their sobriety.
Some of the services offered by the Right Turn Program include:
- Individual Counseling
- Treatment Recommendations
- Case Management
- Family Counseling
- Group Therapy
- Relapse Prevention Group
- Substance Abuse Education Group
- Multi-Family Group
- Gender Specific Groups
- Anger Management Group
- Psychiatric Consultations
- Medication Management
- Referrals
Through these services, the client and their family learn to accept responsibility for their actions, that each action has a corresponding consequence, negative or positive. Youth begin to recognize and understand their addiction, the addictive process, recovery goals, underlying treatment issues, the importance of positive peer support and the development of alternative behaviors to circumvent the addiction cycle.
