Perception House : Residential

The Primary Perception House rule is Respect


Therefore the following behaviors are not tolerated:

  • The possesion or use of any alcohol, illegal drugs, drug paraphenalia, or unauthorized medication of any kind.
  • Physical violence, fights, threats of violence, or intimidation towards residents, staff, visitors, or members of the community.
  • Possessing a weapon of any kind.
  • Sexual contact, or sexual misconduct with residents, staff, or visitors, including the possession of any kind of pornographic materials.
  • Unapproved absence from program property, being in an unapproved location without the proper pass, or otherwise being out of place.
  • Commiting any criminal act, including vandalism of program property and stealing from peers, staff, or the program.
  • Refusing a urine test, adulterating a urine test, or leaving the area in which the resident is asked to remain after being notified that a urine specimen is requested.
  • Possessing, displaying or wearing any clothing, or printed materials that have drug or alcohol pictures, signs, slogans or logos, or that represent gang affiliation.
  • Violating the confidentiality of other residents by disclosing personal information revealed at Perception House.
  • Smoking in the buildings, or transport vehicles. Residents also may not smoke with staff.

Any violation of the rules will be considered to be very serious, and may be grounds for removal from the program.
