Level IV : Residential

A Level IV residence as defined by the Connecticut AIDS Resource Coalition (CARC). It is a safe and sober house for men and women who are HIV-positive and at risk of homelessness.

Level IV offers 24 hour, seven days per week supervision. On-call administrative support is also available during the same hours.

Level IV promotes a holistic approach to the management of HIV. The residence has strong links to a variety of community agencies that include primary medical, mental health and substance use providers. The Visiting Nurse Association provides (a minimum of) weekly health checks for all residents and New Perceptions and United Services schedule individual and/or group counseling sessions, to name but a few.

~ wholeness in mind, body & spirit

Level IV is made possible by a grant from the Department of Social Services, and the assistance of the Connecticut AIDS Resource Coalition.
