Drug Intervention Program

The Drug Intervention Program is contracted with Court Support Services Division for case management and IOP substance abuse treatment. This structured program is designed for twelve to eighteen months in which clients are required to complete court ordered substance abuse evaluations, attend treatment, undergo intensive supervision and report to the court for periodic compliance reviews. In fiscal year 2008-2009, the Drug Intervention Program completed 31 evaluations, treated 22 clients and had 9 successful discharges/graduates. The Second Annual Holiday Celebration was held by the Alumni and 90-day Continuing Care clients. Two alumni received awards, one for 2 years of perfect attendance and the other for continued support as the representative to the National Association of Drug Court Professionals.

As of July 2009, due to contractual changes with the Department of Correction, the Drug Intervention Program will have 20 slots.
