Board of Directors
Perception Programs Inc. maintains a Board of Directors representative of the community it serves. Part of the function of the Board is to conduct needs assessment from time to time and to encourage follow up studies and other program evaluation on an on-going basis. The Executive Director is responsible for being fully cognizant of, and adhering to, all pertinent federal, state and local statues, regulations and codes. The Executive Director also documents program evaluation and progress via monthly reports to the Board of Directors and funding agencies. Historically, client responses and evaluations have been incorporated into program design and planning. Perception Programs Inc. is committed to continuing this practice. Internal program evaluation and research is strongly encouraged. Outside requests for research must be approved by the Board of Directors in advance, and by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
