Bill's House : Transitional Community Living

Policies


ABSTINENCE:

All residents are required to remain alcohol and drug free as long as they reside at Bill's House.

OUTPATIENT COUNSELING:

All residents are required to attend outpatient counseling as recommended by their primary counselor.

URINALYSIS:

All residents are required to comply with any request for a random urine test by either their primary counselor or the staff of the house.

AA/NA ATTENDANCE:

All residents are required to attend a minimum of 4 AA/NA meetings per week. In addition, if a resident is not employed, then he/she is required to attend daily morning AA/NA meetings.

EMPLOYMENT:

All residents are required to seek full time employment within the first 30 days of residency. If employment is not found within 30 days, all residents are required to continue searching for work daily until employment is found.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:

All residents are required to pay their rent when due and to maintain a savings account in preparation for their eventual move into permanent housing.

HOUSE MAINTENANCE:

All residents are required to keep their personal areas clean and neat. All residents share in the responsibility of keeping the house clean and are given job assignments. House inspections are done on a random basis throughout the week.

FOOD & PREPARATION:

All residents are responsible for the purchase of their own food and meal preparation. As a result of this policy, all residents are required to thoroughly clean the stove and cooking utensils immediately after their use.
