Bill's House : Transitional Community Living
Bill's House is a transitional living facility for adults who have successfully completed a residential substance abuse treatment program and are ready to re-enter the community. It is approved by DOC for its parolees. All residents must engage in outpatient treatment and AA/NA meetings. Residents utilize the house manager, ERSC, and other non-agency case managers for assistance with life skills. There is a weekly house meeting.
Bill's House 2011 Program Update
Bill’s House had an average in-bed occupancy rate of 84% for the 2009-2010 fiscal year. Residents transitioning into Bill’s House from Next Step Cottage had their beds held for them until they could transition. A few of the other new clients for Bill’s House transitioned from Perception House after completing treatment. Residents of Bill’s House attended Outpatient treatment at New Perceptions, obtained employment, and were active participants in the local recovery community, and CCAR. House meetings are facilitated by the House Manager and include all residents.
