Bill's House : Transitional Community Living

Bill's House is a transitional living facility for adults who have successfully completed a residential substance abuse treatment program and are ready to re-enter the community. It is approved by DOC for its parolees. All residents must engage in outpatient treatment and AA/NA meetings. Residents utilize the house manager, ERSC, and other non-agency case managers for assistance with life skills. There is a weekly house meeting.

Bill's House 2009 Program Update

Bill’s House had an average in-bed occupancy rate of 84% for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.  Residents transitioning into Bill’s House from Next Step had their beds held for them until DOC set their release date.  Most of the other residents completed their treatment at Perception House prior to moving into Bill’s House.  Residents of Bill’s House attended outpatient treatment at New Perceptions, obtained employment, and were active participants in the local recovery community and CCAR.  House meetings are facilitated weekly by the House Manager and include all residents.  Bill’s House received a face-lift inside this year, with new paint and carpeting.   Bill’s House is certified with the Recovery Supports Program Congregate Sober Housing, administered by ABH and DMHAS.
