Program Rules and Guidelines at Brooklyn/Bridge Program are:

Primary Rules

  • Physical violence or threats of physical violence are not allowed. Threatening and intimidation are not allowed. Each resident is responsible for making the house a safe place to be. When people share a house there are often problems or disagreements.
  • Alcohol and drug use are not allowed. Screened urine samples are taken regularly. If urine results are positive, residents may be subject to dismissal.
  • Sexual relations with residents or staff are not allowed.
  • Residents may not leave the grounds without staff except with a pass. Legally, residents are in the custody of the Department of Correction. Any unauthorized leave may be considered an escape or absconding (if on Parole Status), and residents may be subject to removal and/or additional charges.
